Tendon healing is not equal to the function of the tendon. And we also know a lot of individual cases of tendon injuries with poor functional recovery and destructive treatment, the main reason is that patients do not pay enough attention to functional exercises after tendon injuries. Rehabilitation treatment of tendon injury is a long-term process, usually takes about 2 months, most patients can not guarantee the time. In general, rehabilitation of tendon injuries involves 4 processes.
First, early exercise without resistance. 1~3 weeks after operation, restricted passive motion was used to reduce adhesion and promote healing. During this period, under the strict guidance of medical staff, the affected limb (finger) flexed and straightened directly.
Two, mid term no resistance exercise. Four to five weeks after operation, the patient was instructed to move the affected limb (finger) slightly and actively. The movement was relaxed and exerted properly during the exercise. Ten times a day, 5 minutes each time, so as to cause mild acid distention and avoid violent movements. Massage the muscles and joints with local physiotherapy such as ultrashort wave and spectrum therapy.
3. Increase the impedance of functional exercise gradually in the later period, 4-8 weeks after the complete removal of gypsum to protect the weight of exercise, gradually increase impedance activity; 6-10 weeks after the operation to change passive activities into active activities of the affected limbs (fingers) 20 times, every 1-2 hours to repeat one time, exercise master the main points, functional activities from simple to complex, step by step.
Four, encourage patients to do daily activities. After 10 weeks, according to the nature of the patient's work or willingness to carry out a variety of job training, in order to restore life and work ready.
